Get Your House In Order by Yvonne Brown, LFS
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children:. . . Prov 13:22a
This is a little something that I think you will find very useful. It is a guide for getting your affairs in order. So many times a loved one passes on and the family is stuck with the grueling chore of having to track down wills, insurance policies, bank accounts, etc. Not to mention, trying to figure out what the decedent's wishes might be for funeral arrangements and other related concerns.
This guide is a way to organize your information in one place so that it will make it a little easier on your loved ones left behind. Also it can be a reminder to you of some things you might want to put in place such as Power of Attorneys, Trusts, Wills that you may not have in place right now, but are none the less very important documents.
It is especially important for those of you who are single and may not have children to pass on your estate, to have designated beneficiaries of your estate, no matter how small and insignificant you might think it is. Once you complete this document, you want to make sure it is kept in a safe place and that you let a family member know where it might be found if something should happen to you.
Feel free to call or email if you have any questions or would like further details.
Love you all,
Yvonne
P.S. I encourage you to share this with your friends and family members who might also benefit from use of this attached document. Click on the link at the top of the page.
