When you start to understand God's timing, you'll be able to cooperate with His plan for your life.  If you don't know His timing, learn to wait with confidence on the One Who does!  If you're going to walk with Him and enjoy the journey, you've got to start by 'letting God be God.' (or as my friend Delilah Bell says "Trust God to be who He says He is") 

The problem most of us have is that we attempt to take the lead role in our relationship with Him.  It doesn't work.   He has that role and He won't give it to us. He gives the instructions and we follow - even though we don't always like or understand the way He takes us.

Timing is an important factor. Why does God sometimes take so long to do things? Because trust requires unanswered questions. Think about that! When you don't know, you have to trust the One Who does and that keeps you growing in faith.

God has a plan and a time, so while He's getting us ready, He keeps us - in His waiting room!   Is that where you are today?   If it is, remember, it's only as you reach new levels of maturity that He releases new levels of blessings into your life. If you're in the habit of taking care of yourself - retire from self-care!  God wants to take care of you!   Let Him; He's faithful and you can depend on Him!
