Others May Not Notice

Thank you! Two simple words that mean so very much. Has it been a while since you heard them? You do so much for so many, now you just want a little appreciation in return. Right?

Others may neglect to thank you, but remember this: your Heavenly Father appreciates you for all you do, and all you are.  He has placed you exactly where He needs you, and you are fulfilling His purpose each and every day!  "...He will not forget your work and the love you have shown. . ." Hebrews  6:10

When you understand that, you'll begin to find meaning in everything you do.  It doesn't matter how, or if people respond to your genuine acts of kindness.  Christ, alive in us, is our motivation to treat all people with kindness - they are the beneficiaries of His goodness at work in your life!  Don't let someone else's response dictate the level of your joy!  They may not notice, but God does. He records and He rewards. You can count on it!

If you feel unappreciated today, stop and read these words carefully: "Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the Name of the Lord..." (Col 3:17 NIV).
