The Polar Process
by Lady Tricia Gibson
The Polar Bear is the largest carnivorous animal alive in the world today. The physical characteristics of the Polar Bear makes it perfectly fit for arctic conditions. The bottoms of their feet are covered with fur for better traction on ice. They have massive forelegs used to break through seal's dens on the ice. Polar Bears have developed a keen eyesight, excellent hearing, and a phenomenal sense of smell. Their sense of smell is so acute that they are capable of stalking prey for miles, with fierce determination and singleness of focus.
Polar Bears also have a unique reproductive strategy that enables them to give birth in the arctic conditions. The Polar Bear breeds in Spring, and shortly after conception, the female's pregnancy grinds to a halt. The fertilized embryo floats inside the mother for four months or more, not developing at all. The process is called Delayed Implantation, which works in synchrony with the food supply. It allows the female to wait until after the hunting season before committing to the energetic demands of pregnancy. In time, after all the sea ice has melted, the female's signals the embryo to resume development.
There are times when God will allow a delayed implantation of what He will ultimately birth through You. Though you have been called forth as a Child of Destiny, the embryo of Purpose may not come immediately. Don't fret!!! In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will - Eph 1:11
You are destined for Abundant Life, and that life is coming from the in-utero plan of the Father. It is an "inside job"! God, is shaping you first inside, then out. Yours may be Predictive dormancy or it may be Consequential dormancy, but which ever the cause of your delay, remember that destiny delayed is not destiny denied. You are called to remain attached to the flow of life that comes from being connected to Him, and in the fullness of time, God will deliver.
Be Encouraged,
